A practical approach to technology education
Prof. Yash D. Vidyasagar is associated with Vidyasagar Academy and Vidyasagar Robotics Academy, Akola. His work spans robotics and AI training, embedded systems, electronics, educational technology, technical writing, prototyping and application-oriented research.
His teaching approach emphasises understanding by construction: learners study a principle, build a circuit or system, observe its behaviour and then refine it into a functional application.
Technology becomes meaningful when a learner can build, test, explain and improve it.
Education
Science and electronics studies at Shri R.L.T. College of Science, Akola, followed by postgraduate study in Electronic Science at Fergusson College, Pune.
Teaching
Experience in higher education and practical technical training, including approximately two years as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science.
Research
Work in assistive devices, microcontroller applications, robotics, teaching aids, measurement systems and practical electronics.
